Foster The People Return!
In our look forward to 2014, Volume 1, Foster The People's new release was one of our chosen highlights of the year to come. Since that was posted, the band have released more information about the album and the first track from it. The album will be called 'Supermodel' and will be released on 18th March.
The first song and single from the album 'Coming Of Age' has a big sound and is not dis-similar to the tracks from 'Torches'. The melody is dominated by guitar and backed by a harmony of synth and keys. The drums play a big part, with a nice breakdown towards the end of the track. It is undoubtedly a pop song about growing up, but it is nice to hear a guitar driven pop song in 2014, supposedly the year of decline for the guitar.
The video above is not the official video for 'Coming Of Age', but who doesn't like a time-lapse video?
